Kennel SupervisorTrace F
After 17 years working in a field Trace did not enjoy, she decided that she should turn her attention to animals. Trace hasn't met an animal yet that doesn't make her smile and the feeling is mutual with our patients by the way they respond to her. Trace is like our own personal 'dog whisperer'!
A highlight in Trace's career was the time she spent in New Orleans, after hurricane Katrina, rescuing as many animals as she could.
Trace can't imagine herself doing anything else or a more rewarding career than caring for animals. She is committed to working with them for the rest of her life. Trace has been an integral member of VCA Redmond since 2004.
Kennel AssistantMiranda E
Miranda started at VCA Redmond in November of 2013 as a receptionist. In June 2014, Miranda gave a try in the kennel department. She loves walking dogs, playing with cats and the hands on care for our boarders. In her free time she plays roller derby for Jet City Rollergirls and is achieving her Associates degree from Shoreline Community College.
Kennel AssistantVeronica J
Veronica has been a member to the VCA Redmond Kennel team since 2013. She can often be found greeting our clients with a warm, welcoming smile and offers our “guests” a lot of love and affection. Veronica has always had a tremendous love for animals. She currently has two cats packed with all sorts of personality: Butters, the boisterous tortie and Nyx, the curious black blob-cat. They both mean the world to her. In her spare time you may catch Veronica geeking out on video games, reading awesome fantasy novels, drawing, listening to music, spending time with family/friends, even hitting up the zoo or an animal shelter just to show her love for the fur babies
Kennel AssistantAlyssa R
Alyssa has been a part of the Redmond team as a kennel attendant since March 2014. When she is not working she enjoys exploring different hikes and trails the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her 3 dogs Scooby, Grrtrude and Jasper.
Brandi has been grooming dogs and cats since 2007, she has been with VCA Redmond since January 2014.
I've been working with animals doing kennels since I was a kid. After work I would watch the groomers work and it seemed like artwork to me. One of the groomers mentioned a school that I could attend, Masers Grooming Academy. I attended for a year in 2004 where I learned the different breeds and techniques needed and I've been grooming ever since. In February of 2007 I joined Clipped Whiskers and have really enjoyed meeting all the pets and owners!
When I'm not in the salon, I enjoy hanging out with my three dogs; Bandit, Maggie & Shakcra. I'm either grooming them, we're relaxing or taking long hikes. The woods are where we like to be the most!
