Veterinary Tech School: Becker College
Lianna is the newest addition to our staff and has come to us with a varied skill set. Lianna recently made the career change into general practice from emergency medicine which contributes to her vast knowledge. After many years of dedication and a Bachelor of Science degree, from Becker College, Lianna obtained her Veterinary Technician Certification in 2011. In her free time, Lianna enjoys spending time with her husband Charles and their daughter Ava. They share their home with two cats and their German Shepard, Mia. Lianna is also an equine enthusiast, and loves spending time by the ocean.
Daymian joined our team in April 2014 as Veterinary Assistant. It quickly became evident that Daymian has such a wonderful way with animals which led his rapid transition into a Technician. In the year prior to his commitment to VCA Pleasant Bay, Daymian worked as a dog handler locally. Daymian has a special interest in exotic animals and shares his home with fiancé Dan, their two ferrets and 2 cats.
Suzanne is one of the newest additions to our staff, and is a wonderful smiling face. Prior to joining our team she dedicated a tremendous amount of her time in the Shelter world while she was employed at the New England Society for Abandoned Animals in Centerville. At N.E.S.A.A, Suzanne was primarily the surgery technician for the spay & neuter clinics. Suzanne shares her home with her lovely cat Moose and her new puppy, Walker. She enjoys dining out, and discovering new beaches.
Veterinary Assistant SupervisorLinda Hill
A valued staff member since 1986, Linda specializes in dental care and radiology. She and her husband Jim, have a 7 year old Chihuahua named Taco and 13 year old cat named Moon. Their pets were either adopted as strays from our hospital or from the Animal Rescue League. With Linda's experience at the hospital she helps lead our technical team as our Technician Supervisor.
Veterinary AssistantMichelle Burton
Michelle has been with VCA for 20 years. Shortly after graduating from Norfolk Aggie High School she went on to pursue her career as a Veterinary Technician. Michelle has two dogs Blue, a Great Dane, and Zeb, an Australian Cattle Dog. In her free time she enjoys going on trail walks with her dogs, fishing, boating, and riding horses.
