Biography

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jean Schulz back to Pleasant Bay Animal Hospital. Dr. Schulz worked for us several years ago prior to her marriage and relocation to New Hampshire. Recently Dr. Schulz, husband, Paul, and son, Luca, moved back to Cape Cod along with their two dogs, two cats and flock of laying hens.

Dr. Schulz graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a degree in Physics and received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. She is certified in Acupuncture by the International Veterinary Society (IVAS) and attended the Canine Rehabilitation course at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Emergency Care

If you have a pet emergency or just reassurance that you don't, call the hospital at 508-432-5500. If we are closed, someone is available from 5:00pm until 8:00am on weekdays and 24 hours a day on weekends and major holidays at Cape Animal Referral and Emergency Center (CARE). Their toll free number is 1-866-464-7575. Their new hospital is located at 79 Theophilus Smith Rd in South Dennis. Our doctors still provide coverage emergency coverage during our normal business hours. Please do not bring your pet to the hospital without first receiving instructions. There are extra fees for emergency visits.
