I felt the need to drop a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed my experience at VCA Pets Are People Too. I recently moved from California and was worried about where to get quality care for my pets. I brought my 4 month old kitten in because I had noticed she was scratching at her ears. I was greeted by Alan and Gary at the front desk. They were both very courteous and helpful. Alan took my information down, as this was my first visit to the hospital, and got us settled into the exam room. It took only a few minutes before Dr. Dunn came in to examine my kitten. She quickly diagnosed that ear mites were the problem. She even showed me the live mites under the microscope. She prescribed medication and even took the time to show me how to apply it. Overall, my first experience at the hospital was a great one. I am very pleased with the dedication and professionalism of the staff. I am releived to know that I have found a new health care facility for my pets.

There are no words to describe how we feel about the treatment we received 'Pets Are People Too Veterinary Hospital'. At close to midnight on Friday June 19th we arrived at VCA with two pets that had been savagely attacked by wild dogs. Dr. Denise Melton and her team could not have been more caring, more skilled, more professional, more supportive! Although one of our animals died as a result of the attack, this team of dedicated Veterinary staff went beyond every measure possible to relieve the pain and suffering of our animals. They worked tirelessly and selflessly for many hours, and rendered service that no amount of money can adequately compensate them for.
I am not one to normally write reviews. But this example of empathy, dedication and service will remain with me forever. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. For recovering Hoot, and sadly departed Minit Man, their human parents, Juli, Lauren and Denise, you were and will remain, our angels of mercy!

I just wanted to say thank you for the great care I received at the Ansley Mall location this morning. I've been responsible for taking animals for vet visits since I first got my driver's license 16 years ago and this was one of the best experiences I've had.
My cat Bella has been struggling with (what appears to be) ringworm for the past several months. Prior to today, I had taken her to her regular vet four times, given her medication for 8 weeks, and nothing they gave me solved the problem. After the latest recurrence, I decided to get a second look.
From the gentleman that I spoke with on the phone (and who also checked me in), to the gentleman who checked me out, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Woods took plenty time to explain his proposed course of action, never appeared rushed, and also gave her a thorough physical since she was a first time visitor. The veterinary technician who ran the tests even offered to trim Bella's nails as she (the cat of course) was scratching me through my shirt.
It was no less impressive that I was in and out in less than an hour. On a Saturday!

You guys really make her feel special and make us feel comfortable coming to you. You call to make sure she's ok. I have two dogs that have required extensive diagnosis for unusual gastrointestinal problems. Dr. Dunn, Dr. Phillips, the vet-techs and front desk staff have been wonderful and efficient. My dogs were persistently cared for and diagnosed until the problems were resolved and managed. Their communication skills gave me confidence in understanding the problems, the alternative solutions, and I always had my many questions answered with patience and clarity. I am grateful for the committed and caring work of this veterinary clinic.

I have to say that I have been going to this hospital for approximately 6 years now. They have ALWAYS been so compassionate and knowledgeable. I could never ask for a better clinic. I have seen Aaron Thivierge the last several times that I have had to come in. I don't have the words to say how wonderful he is. My cat Scardey just passed away and they were great about it. He had such care in his eyes. I just recently went back with Sasha the day before Thanksgiving for an issue with her foot. Everyone actually remembered me and my cat. You don't always get that kind of service. I have had the opportunity to go to other Vet Clinics because of moving and I will say this, I don't care how far I have to drive I will never go anywhere else! THANKS AGAIN!!!

In early December my two dogs, a small and a large, broke through a newly vulnerable spot in the fencing in our yard. I spent an hour looking for them through the neighborhood with no luck. I returned home and received a call from PAPT (Ansley) Hospital Administrator Mary Ann Miller telling me that they had spotted and secured the small dog. She told me there was a large dog lurking close by. I confirmed that the large dog was also mine. Ms. Miller asked the kennel assistants to return outside with my leashed small dog in order to keep the large dog close by until I arrived. The large dog was staying on the other side of a high chain link fence. Both kennel assistants, Rodney Glaze and Shawn Bridges, went above the call of duty, helping me keep the small dog secure while unlocking a gated fence to retrieve the large dog. All of this involved their trampling into derelict property, first to retrieve the small dog and then to retrieve the large one. I am grateful for the thoughtfulness, intelligence, extra effort, concern, and friendliness of Ms. Miller, Mr. Glaze, and Mr. Bridges. Their employer should fully note and reward their professionalism and their value to PAPT and to the community.

I have been so impressed in the past year or so with the service and care my dogs and I have received at your hospital. MaryAnn clearly runs a tight and thoughtful ship.
I was broken-hearted last year when my girl Jessie was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. Dr. Woods helped me to understand what was happening, carefully explained the options and offered support in my difficult decision.
On my most recent visit, Gary was helping another client on the phone but nodded to let me know he would be right with me. Instead, Antoine stepped up and signed us in. Melodie met us in the exam room. She was so professional and knowledgeable that I mistook her for the vet. Dr. Draper kindly listened to me and carefully examined Jack. Then she explained the steps we would take and options for Jack's care.
I haven't received such attentiveness at my own (human) physician's office! The VCA staff must really love their jobs. I am so grateful to each of those who helped us.

As a first time pet owner I really appreciated VCA for being there for us. My rescue puppy was very sick. I was very worried and was able to bring him in right away.
It's just great having that level of service.
