Biography

Dr. Angela Ford Amann joined Peachtree Animal Hospital in September 2002. Dr. Ford was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Rome, Georgia where she attended Darlington High School. She went on to complete her baccalaureate degree in biology with a minor in Animal Science at the University of Georgia in 1996 and graduated from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Ford completed an extensive 15 month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in south Florida.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, gardening, and traveling. Her favorite vacation spots are the Florida Keys and Winter Park, Colorado.

Dr. Ford resides in Decatur with her husband Jason and their twins, Reagan and McLeod. They have 3 dogs, Gristle and Wrigley are wire-hair miniature Dachsunds and Angus is a Doberman Pincher.
