VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital

Climate-Controlled Boarding

Our hospital offers dog and cat boarding you can trust. It is sometimes difficult to find a boarding facility that will tend to the needs of your pet and give them the attention they deserve. Boarding at our facility is ideal, especially if your pet has certain medical conditions that require medication or a doctor's watchful eye.

So that we can best accommodate your pet, please make reservations in advance, especially during the holiday season. We will also review your pet's vaccination history to make sure that everything is up to date prior to the start of their boarding visit.

Since boarding facilities and amenities vary from place to place, please call or stop by and let us show you the additional amenities we can offer your pet during his or her stay.

We look forward to spending time with your pet while they enjoy their stay with us! :)

For the protection of your pet, other pets in our facility and our boarding staff, all pets must be current on the vaccines listed below. We do not recommend boarding pets younger than five months of age, as they may not have developed complete immunity.

Required vaccines and testing for dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Canine Influenza, Bordetella and fecal parasite screening within the last 6 months.

Required vaccines and testing for cats: Rabies, Distemper, and fecal parasite screening within the last 6 months.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you.
