Biography

Dr. Ladd grew up in Bethesda, MD with her 3 siblings and a house full of pets, including dogs, birds, iguanas, and almost 40 turtles. She attended undergrad at Cornell University and earned a Master’s degree in biology from the University of Miami before graduating from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She is very happy to be working in her home state and living close to family and friends. Dr. Ladd has a wide range of interests in both small animal and exotic animal medicine. Having lived with so many growing up, it is no surprise that she has a particular fondness for turtles, and enjoys helping people keep theirs healthy. In her free time, Dr. Ladd enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and watersports, scuba diving, traveling, cooking, and painting.
