    Diane Matthews

    Diane has been a technician at VCA Parkwood since 2002. She recently graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Kinesiology. She is currently pursuing her RVT license and is planning to go back to school in the fall to obtain her second degree in Nursing. She hopes to open her own Canine Rehabilitation facility in the near future. When she is not working she likes to spend her free time at the gym, with her 4 four legged babies "Gidget", "Stella", "Nooze", and "Howie", as well as spend time with her friends and family.

    Zsolt Laszlo Varadi
    Veterinary Tech School: Saint Stevens Veterinary University, Budapest, Hungary

    Zsolt has been with VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital since June 2004. He is a native of Hungary and acquired his veterinary degree from Saint Stevens Veterinary University of Budapest, Hungary. He's currently completing his National and State Boards to become a licensed veterinarian here in the United States. His favorite part of work is being around animals daily. His passion for animals has existed for as long as he can remember. He shares his home with Maci, a 12 year old Shi Tzu he got in Budapest during veterinary school. Zsolt is an avid golfer and spends most of his free time on the golf course as a stress reliever or should we say, "stress factor"!

    Alicia Santana

    Alicia has worked in the veterinary field for 10 years, most recently at Animal Emergency Care Center in Woodland Hills. She joined the VCA Parkwood family in May 2010. She especially loves emergency medicine. Alicia is the proud mom of two boys. In her spare time, she just wants to catch up on sleep!

    Ivan Ulloa

    Ivan has been working at Parkwood since Aug 2006. He is currently pursuing his dream of entering the LAPD. While waiting for the testing sections to be completed, he is taking courses to receive his EMT license which he will receive in Aug 2010. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his friends, fixing "Claudia" his car, and traveling as much as he can.

    Samantha Chicas

    Samantha (also known as Sam) started working with our team in December 2009. When she was younger, she briefly volunteered here at Parkwood so we were happy to welcome her back! She wants to be a RVT and plans to start school in the fall. Sam has a special interest in animal rights, especially speaking out against puppy mills. In her spare time, she enjoys books, movies and the arts.

    Sami Bragg

    Sami has been a member of the VCA family since 2006 when she worked at our sister facility VCA Companion. She recently transferred to VCA Parkwood in March 2009 where she wears two hats: receptionist and veterianary assistant. She is taking RVT courses at Pierce College but her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian. Sami is the proud "mommy" of two Chihuahuas, Kobe and Petey. In her free time, she enjoys biking and spending time at the beach and dog park.

    Zarui Melkonyan

    Zarui Melkonyan also known as "Z" has been a technician at VCA Parkwood since March of 2004. Prior to this time, she volunteered at the East Valley Animal Shelter where she helped find homes for hundreds of homeless pets. Her ultimate goal is to open a rescue for abandoned farm animals and other pets. Her current furry family includes two dogs "Boxer" and "King Tubby", a cat named "Queenie", and a bearded dragon named "R2".
