Receptionist SupervisorSierra Ruiz
Sierra Ruiz started here in October 2014. In high school, Sierra attended the R.O.P Animal & Veterinary Careers course and volunteered at Wild Things INC. , a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation and education organization located in Northern California, where she grew up. On top of being a full time Client Care Representative Lead, she is a student at Moorpark College and is currently awaiting acceptance into the exotic Animal Training Management Program, in hopes of one day becoming a Zookeeper. In her rare moments of free time, Sierra loves to swim and go for hikes with her husband and two dogs, "Sid" and " Penny".
Mandy is a Client Representative here at VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital who puts all her heart into everything she does. Her enthusiasm is infectious and makes everyday a pleasure.
Ana has been a receptionist at VCA Parkwood since 2011. She first started working here to learn more about helping animals. But realized over time it is not just about animals but their owners too. Ana has volunteered with VCA and NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles) when she has free time between her other passions styling hair and hockey.(GO KINGS GO) She currently has no pets after the passing of her wonderful dog for 19 years, named Lucky.
Alexandra Tremblay has been with the VCA Parkwood family for 10 months now and is studying at Penn Foster college to become a RVT. She enjoys going off roading and camping with two pit bulls, Brownie and Bella and new member Denver.
Amber has been a valued part of the VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital team since 2013. She has degrees in Biology and Pre - Veterinary Medicine and is working towards a career as a veterinarian. She volunteers with wildlife rehabilitation and enjoys scuba diving, reading, hiking and playing with her calico kitty " Sierra " during her spare time.
