Dr. Cecil is originally from Ohio, where she studied Pre-Vet and Biology at The University of Findlay (2014). After finishing her bachelor's in science Dr. Cecil worked as a zookeeper for Disney's Animal Kingdom for 3 years, where she worked with a variety of species. Some of her favorites to work with included Nile Hippopotamus, Okapi, and Giraffe. After her time in the sunshine state, Dr. Cecil decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian and moved to the island of St. Kitts and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her final/clinical year of veterinary school was completed at The University of Florida.

Dr. Cecil has special interests in surgery, animal behavior, and the human-animal bond. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping, playing volleyball, and spending time on the beach with her ocean loving dog, Maddie.
