Ross Larson, DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Biography
Dr. Larson grew up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota which initially sparked his interest in the care of animals. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then moved to Madison, Wisconsin to obtain his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. He completed a one year small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia which included additional training with specialists in surgery, internal medicine and emergency. He is interested in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, gastrointestinal diseases, ultrasonography, cardiology and nutrition.
Dr. Larson has a Pug named Ace and enjoys anything outdoors such as hiking, biking, endurance races or playing just about any sport. He is very excited to be joining the VCA Palmetto team and is looking forward to meeting owners and their pets!
