Biography

Dr. Scott Vaughan joined the practice in 1991 immediately following his graduation from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He was made the Medical Director in 2002. In April 2005, Dr. Vaughan attained specialty certification in canine and feline practice from
the highly esteemed American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. In addition to small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery, Dr. Vaughan is a seasoned sonographer and is currently pursuing advanced training in rigid endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques. He spends the majority of his free time serving his church and enjoying his family. Dr. Vaughan and his wife, Gina, have two teenage sons, Dustin and Dillon, and a Labrador retriever name Kenzy.

VCA Oso Creek Animal Hospital and Emergency Center provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.

We provide the highest standard in veterinary emergency and critical care services. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of emergency surgeries and procedures. We provide the highest standards of pain management. Emergency internal medicine consultations, including full diagnostics, are available.
