    Stephanie M

My name is Stephanie Melman and I am your Cat Champion at VCA Orchard Animal Hospital. I would like to invite you and your feline friends to help us celebrate our new program called Positive CATtitude. I know how important it is to have a veterinary team that provides quality health care AND understands our feline friends. I have had the great opportunity in my life to enjoy the many challenges of our independent companions - from the first steps of kittenhood to their delicate, pampered senior years. Throughout these years it has become more apparent to me that routine exams, annual blood work, dentals and vaccinations help maintain a healthy and happy cat. The cat is a unique animal who has the ability to disguise illness and pain. With routine exams and blood work we are able to detect problems early and treat them early which extends our feline friends’ years of life. Dental care for your cat is also very important. Routine cleanings help prevent dental, liver, renal and heart disease as well as help prevent more extensive procedures like tooth extractions. We recommend and encourage appropriate annual vaccinations for your cat. Whether your cat is an indoor or outdoor cat, we can help you plan a personal vaccine schedule to fit your cat’s life style. We owe it to our feline companions to provide great care so they remain happy and healthy members of our families.
