Biography

Dr. Athey grew up in south Alabama where he attended Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated top of his class in 1971. His background includes working as a Veterinarian for the Central Florida Zoo in addition to small animal practice. He is the former owner and current medical director for VCA Orange City Animal Hospital. He has been a practitioner in the local community for over 20 years. He enjoys small animal medicine with a special interest in orthopedics.
