Caring for pets... and their people, too.

For over 40 years, Oneida Animal Hospital has been pleased to serve the people and pets of our community. We are proud of our commitment to preventative health care and our tradition of friendly, compassionate service. We trust you will find our staff welcoming and knowledgeable as we work together to provide you and your pet with the quality care you expect and deserve.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous medical issues that can impact your pet's health that require your attention over the entire year. For example, there's heartworm, which can affect both cats and dogs. Since it's transmitted by mosquitoes, which thrive in our region, it's a serious cause for concern. The same is true for flea and tick infestation, which pose a problem in any season. Year-round prevention will protect your pet from heartworm infection, fleas (which can lead to tapeworms), ticks (which transmit Lyme disease) and other intestinal parasites.

New to VCA?

We provide veterinary services for every stage in your pet's life, from her first shots to a lifetime of preventive care to keep her happy and healthy.

Our services don't end at our hospital doors.  As a member of the VCA family, our veterinarians have access to extensive medical resources, not the least of which is the VCA knowledge base, which allows our doctors to tap into the collected knowledge of over 2,000 VCA veterinarians.

And if your pet ever needs truly advanced veterinary care, VCA Specialty Hospitals are ready to help.  These twenty-eight clinics provide state-of-the-art care in orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, advanced oncology, and even such cutting-edge treatments as stem cell therapy.

The staff of Oneida Animal Hospital is comprised of dedicated individuals who have made it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. We have a well-established support staff (many with us for over 10 years!) who are fortunate to have developed relationships with many of our patients and clients over the years. From check-in to check-out, our team of pet lovers works cohesively to create a warm and welcoming experience for both you and your pet.
