  • Technician Supervisor

    Juli L

    Juli has been with VCA Old Trail since August 2005. She started as a technician and was promoted to Technician Supervisor in May 2009, where she helps lead our team.  Before joining VCA Old Trail Animal Hospital, she began here career in 1992 as a Veterinary Assistant and worked at several animal hospitals in te York area.  In addition, Juli received a degree in Fin Arts and Photography in 1984 and enjoys her time outside of work exploring the surrounding area with camera in hand.


    "I like working closely with our clients, educating them about preventative care for their beloved pets.  I have a true interest in teaching and mentoring technicians new to the field of veterinary medicine, sharing my passion of caring for pet and pet parent."

    Amy H

    Amy has been a Veterinary Technician at VCA Old Trail for 7 years.  She grew up in the Glen Rock area and graduated from the local high school.  In her spare time, Amy enjoys cheering on her son at his sports events.


    "I enjoy working here at VCA Old Trail because I have a deep love for animals.  It warms my heart when I see owners that love their pets as I do!  The picture above is of my beloved Basset named Daisy Girl.  I also have a Beagle named Dixie and 2 cats, Buttercup and Kit'ten."

    Kelly H

    Kelly grew up locally and graduated from Susquehannock High School in 2000.  After which, she began working at VCA Old Trail as a Veterinary Technician.  Kelly lives on a cattle farm, where she has been showing cattle since the age of 13.  She is happily married with a beautiful little girl who was born in 2011.  Kelly and her family have three dogs, Malachi, Rufus and thier newest addition, Reba.


    "I have always loved animals and interacting with them.  Growing up on a farm, I have been an animal lover my whole entire life.  I enjoy caring for pets; making them healthier and happier".

    Ruth P

    Ruth has been working at VCA Old Trail Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician for a "very long time."  She is a graduate of SUNY at Delhi in Veterinary Technology.  she is a proud mother of two grown sons.  Ruth had her husband, Harry, live with their six cats and two dogs:  a Shepherd Mix named Annabelle and a Black Lab named Sophie.


    "I have always had a passion for animals; ever since I was a child and the neighbor's dog would come over to our house and watch me play outside.  My desire to go into the veterinary profession was inspired by a 4H field trip when I was eleven years old.  We went to visit a Veterinary Clinic, and that is when I fell in love with the idea of working with animals."

    Carol H

    Carol was born in Daytona Beach, Florida.  She and her husband moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1991 and lived there for 12 years.  During that time, she started a Doggie Day Camp at a large animal hospital and had an average of 40 dogs a day.  she also taught puppy classes.  They moved again in 2004 to Glen Rock, where she started the Doggie Day Camp and puppy classes here at VCA Old Trail Animal Hospital.

    "I work with dogs because I understand and bond with them.  They consider me "leader of the pack," but we share respect.  I love sending tired, but happy dogs home with their thrilled parents at the end of each day."
