Peyton has been working with VCA Old Town Animal Hospital since August 2013. She has always had a passion for animals and grew up on a farm in southern Virginia. She moved to northern Virginia in 2009 to attend George Mason University and while in school, she worked at a dog day care/boarding facility. In 2013, she received her bachelor's degree in Conservation Studies. Right after graduation she lived in Guatemala for a few months to start a recycling program and help teach English to kids.

After moving back to the area, she started working as a Veterinary Assistant with VCA Old Town. Since then, she has also become the hospital's Boarding Supervisor and Inventory Manager. She has one cat named Buddha who was found outside of the hospital when she was a kitten. When Peyton is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and live music.
