VCA Old Town Animal Hospital

  • Kennel Supervisor

    Jennifer R

Jennifer is the Boarding Coordinator at VCA Old Town and she truly believes that your pets need their vacation too - so she does all she can to help them relax and enjoy themselves when they stay with us.  Jennifer is a bundle of energy, whizzing around doing everything for everyone, even helping at the Front Desk!  But at the same time she will crawl in a cage and take all the time needed to help a pet relax and become familiar and comfortable with surroundings.  She gives the best baths - talking and playing with the water, giving comfort and care your pet just as if it is her own pet.

At home, she is "just Mom" but spends her time running kids from place to place and caring for the family menagerie, including Zeus and Caesar, the two dogs.  She is a big Redskins fan and enjoys anything out of doors!  Just ask for her when you call with any questions about boarding.

  • Kennel Assistant

    Omar Cat

Omar lives with us here at VCA Old Town Animal Hospital.  While we would love to find him a home with a family, he seems to enjoy ruling the house with us!  Omar makes sure our Cat Ward is up to his high standards at all times!

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
