VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital

Sarah Ward Fatula, VMD, Associate Veterinarian

VMD, University of Pennsylvania

Dr. Sarah Fatula graduated from Colgate University in 2005 and then spent two years doing research at the National Institutes of Health. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Fatula lives in Philadelphia with her husband and their dog, Buckley. Outside of work, she enjoys running, biking, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Why I do what I do:  - I have always loved animals of all shapes and sizes and while growing up I had a strong interest in science and medicine. Becoming a veterinarian allowed me to combines these two interests and become part of an exciting and rewarding profession.  I also get to play and interact with sweet animals every day and make them feel better.

Special Note:  Dr. Fatula is such a great addition to our hospital and family and we were very fortunate to find such a caring person who shows compassion to every patient and client that she interacts with.  What a great addition to our team of great doctors and staff.
