Veterinary Tech School: Lehigh Community College
School: Bucks County Community College
Terry grew up in Brooklyn New York and graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School in 1982 also in Brooklyn. After some time she decided to go to college and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College and received an associate degree in applied science and her certification in veterinary technology in 2006 and is now pursuing her associate degree in business while also obtaining her certified veterinary practice manager certification. Terry has several pets which include the following; "Ebony" a lab mix, "Maya" a great pyrenees mix, "Champ" a sharpei mix and lastly "Shelby" a chesapeake bay mix. Terry's special interests include exceptional client service, quality medicine and team growth. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family which includes all her pets, reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Why I do What I do: I have always been an animal lover and when my shepherd became very ill I was constantly at the veterinary hospital having her treated and was always concerned about who was taking care of her when I couldn't. I decided then that I wanted to be that person that clients could trust when bringing their pet to the veterinarian for care. I wanted to provide comfort and compassion to all my clients while ensuring that all their pets received the gold standard of care.
Special Note: Terry has just joined our family and while she may be new to our hospital she's not new to the field and comes with a great deal of experience. Her goal is to make sure that we deliver exceptional client service and the very best patient care.
Office ManagerKathleen Brady
Katie lives in Royersford, PA with her fiancé and their two cats Cortez and Orion, and Rocky, their Cocker Spaniel. She has been at VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital since 2005 in various departments over the years. As the Office Manager, she enjoys being able to assist fellow animal lovers and their companions through the administrative side of the veterinary field. Wen not at work or catering to her furbabies, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking and kayaking.
Why I do what I do: I knew from a very early age that I just had to be around animals. I chose to be a part of the veterinary field so that I could help keep them healthy and safe.
Special Note: What can we say about Katie? She is just an amazing person and a huge part of our family. She is the linchpin to keeping our hospital running smoothly. She tackles anything you give her with enthusiasm but above all else she looks out for our patients and our clients and we couldn't ask for more than that.
