Happy Days, I am me! I have been in the veterinary world since 1999, crazy! I have been able to gain knowledge in all the aspects of working in a vet clinic. I enjoy meeting all the pets that come thru the clinic and passing on knowledge and information to owners. I have a wonderful furry boy, Wicket who holds a fairly large amount of my attention outside of work!!

    Veterinary Tech School: Carrington College

I moved to Austin, TX from San Jose, CA in February of 2016. I went to the tech school Carrington College of California and graduated with an A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011. I became a registered veterinary technician in California in 2012. The majority of my experience is with dogs and cats but I do enjoy working with reptiles when the opportunity arises. I have a strong interest in hospice care for animals and have done some work in the area in the past. My boyfriend, Will, and I have 4 pets together:  Robyn, a Dachshund/Papillon mix; Wicket, a Terrier/Brussels Griffon mix; Curtis, a large cat; and Zack, a slightly less large cat. The cats outweigh the dogs and Curtis is definitely the head honcho of the household. In our spare time, we enjoy going on hikes, seeing live comedy acts, occasional concerts, and watching as many movies as possible at The Alamo Drafthouse.

School: Texas A&M University, Animal Science

I joined the VCA family in September 2014, but have been in the veterinary field since 2008. I have always loved animals and enjoy taking care of them. Because of this passion, I graduated from Texas A&M University with an Animal Science degree (Gig ‘em!). Overall, this job is very rewarding to me! I have 2 black labs, Spring and Karlee, and two cats, Star and Colby.
