Sarah Lavery, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Biography

Born and raised on a farm in West Deer Township, Dr. Sarah Lavery has experience in many different species including cats, dogs, pocket pets, small ruminants and horses. She is a 2007 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She received her BS degree in Veterinary Science from the same university in 2005.

Dr. Lavery spent a year and a half in Salisbury, Maryland working as a general practitioner before realizing she was destined to be a Pittsburgher once again.

In 2009, she joined Northview, where her practices extends to cats, dogs and pocket pets.

Dr. Lavery currently resides in Pittsburgh with the love of her life, "Darcy" a 10-year old Labrador mix and her 2 dysfunctional cats, "Nay-nay" and "Ollie". She is a Steeler fan to the core, and spends her spare time submerged in music and art.

VCA Northview Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
