Jennifer Stepp, DVM, received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating magna cum laude , and then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. She also completed a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health researching genetics and behavior, and co-authored several publications resulting from this work. Dr. Stepp emphasizes client education and special interests include preventative health care, dermatology, urology and oncology.

Reproductive medicine is a special interest she has also pursued. Dr. Stepp has been involved in canine sports for over a decade and is a member in good standing of multiple parent breed clubs. She has owner-handled in conformation, agility, obedience and field events and continues to enjoy these activities in her spare time.
