Gillian Fraser, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Tufts University

Dr. Fraser grew up taking care of bunnies, birds, a dog, and any horses that she could get her hands on. As an undergraduate at Dartmouth College, she competed with the equestrian team, volunteered at the humane society and at the local veterinary hospital. She graduated in 1995 with a major in Biology modified with Psychology. Before applying to veterinary school, Dr. Fraser took a year to visit family in Australia and finish pre-veterinary course work at Monash University. While attending Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, she volunteered on the Pet Loss Support Line and Gap Junction, an after school science enrichment program for grades 5-8. She earned her DVM degree in June 2000, and shortly after moved to New York City to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center. Dr. Fraser joined VCA in November, 2001 at the Village Animal Hospital in Larchmont, NY. In June 2004 she became a part of the team at VCA Northborough. When not at work, Gillian enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies are yoga, soduku, and making attempts at gardening.
