Nicole Chamberlin, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Oregon State University

Dr. Nicole Chamberlin was born and raised in Alaska, where her mother at one time had 13 cats! She earned her undergraduate degree from Reed College and her veterinary degree from Oregon State University in 2000. She has worked in small animal and shelter practice in the Portland area since graduation and continues to work at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin as a relief doctor. She enjoys medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Nicole prefers to use a collaborative interaction style when talking to clients. She believes informing and educating is important and helps clients make good decisions about the care their pets will receive.

When not busy working at VCA North Portland, Dr. Chamberlin volunteers at the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and with Girls Scouts. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family (two children, husband and 4 cats), and taking language classes.
