Jenn Long, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Oregon State University

Dr. Jenn Long (Formerly Dr. Yeitz) was born and raised on the east coast, Connecticut to be exact. She attained her BA in Biology from Boston University in 1997. Eventually she made her way to Oregon and attended Portland State University and studied wildlife conservation. She graduated from Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Long loves emergency medicine and critical care, as well as pain management in cases of severe trauma. She has volunteered at the Oregon Zoo and plans to return again for volunteer work, this time as a veterinarian. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, and cooking and is greeted at the door by “Jordan,” her greyhound and “Mr. Jones,” her black cat who thinks he’s a baby urban panther.

Dr. Long is easy-going, very approachable, and has developed her talent for helping sick patients and patients in crisis. She really enjoys connecting with clients and helping them care for their little ones. Her gentle touch, compassionate voice, and calm and relaxed demeanor touched our hearts. When you meet Dr. Long, we believe her warm smile will touch your heart as well.
