Jimmy is the Head Technician at NMSVC. He has worked side by side with Dr. Haddad for over 25 years. His experience and expertise in the field of veterinary technology is unmatched, and our clients and patients appreciate his familiar face, and calm, comforting presence.
Jimmy has been married for over 20 years, has three grown children, and four grandchildren. He shares his home with his dogs, Thor and Josie and two cats Tinkerbelle and Cosmo. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys skiing, riding his motorcycle and trying to beat Doc in a golf game. Jimmy is also a diehard Bruins and Patriots fan.
Certified Veterinary TechnicianKate Donovan, CVT
School: UMASS Amherst, B.A., Anthropology
Kate received her B.A. in Anthropology from UMass Amherst and has been a team member at North Main St. Vet Clinic since 2010.
Kate is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians and in addition to her regular duties she is also our Inventory Manager.
Kate’s favorite part of the job is client education. She loves to teach clients about proper pet care, and she especially enjoys watching young puppies and kittens grow into adults.
Kate shares her home in Rockland with her Husband, her 2 cats Sake and Rex, and her dog Allie, whom she adopted as a rescue. When not at NMSVC, Kate works part time for her Uncle at a doggie daycare.
Certified Veterinary TechnicianJessica Stetson, CVT
School: UMass Amherst, B.S., Animal Science
Jess is a Certified Veterinary Technician, and has been a member of our team since September 2009. She graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science.
Jess says the most gratifying parts of her job is when she is able to follow a sick pet through their treatment and recovery, and see the pet go home with their owners happy and healthy again. She enjoys seeing the special relationships that people have with their pets.
Jess and her husband share their home their twins (a boy and a girl) and their rescued lab named Jack. Jess is a vegan and loves to cook.
Anita has been a member of our team since 2004. She is very experienced with all aspects of patient care, surgery and laboratory work. She is also excellent on with our clients and so you will often find her working at the front desk. Anita is fluent in several languages, and is often asked to help our doctors with translation to our Cape Verdean clients.
Anita is a lifelong resident of Brockton, and earned a BA in Biology from Pine Manor College. During her studies Anita interned at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital where she gained valuable hands-on experience and skills. Anita is a busy lady when not here at the clinic, she shares her home with her young son, her grandparents and her dog Peaches.
Stefanie is a very versatile member of our team and has been since 1998. She is just as often found at the front desk, as she is found assisting the doctors with examinations, lab work, x-rays, and surgeries.
After graduating from Norfolk County Agricultural High School, Stefanie worked for a Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon. She has an interest in puppy care, and is often our client educator when it comes to caring for newborn puppies and kittens. She was raised in East Bridgewater and continues to make her home there with her husband, 2 kids, and her pug. In her spare time Stefanie loves to spend time in Cocoa Beach Florida, where she kayaks with the manatees.
School: Anna Maria College, B.S., Business
Hope is one of our newest technicians, who came to us from Central MA. After graduating from Anna Maria College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hope worked in the hospitality field. However, it was her time spent volunteering with the MSPCA where Hope realized working with animals was what she was destined to do. Prior to coming to VCA N. Main St., Hope worked at an animal hospital in Leominster where she met 2 furry kittens (now known as Glenn and Branson) and fell in love. Now, along with her boyfriend, Hope and the boys call the South Shore home.
School: University of New England, B.S., Psychobiology
Meaghan is one of our newest Technicians. She graduated from the University of New England in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology. Meaghan says one of the most enjoyable parts of her job is being a part of a team that helps to relieve an animal's pain and suffering through treatments. Meaghan loves rescuing animals. She rescued her cat Lucky, from the side of the highway as a kitten in 2012; she also rescued her dog Chance from a shelter in 2015 (Chance is Meaghan's first dog). Meaghan shares her home with her rescue pets and her boyfriend. In her free time, she likes to go hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, and taking Disney World trips.
