    Jen

    Jen knew she wanted to work with animals since she was eight years old. She has been working in the pet care field for about fifteen years. with most of her experience involving surgery and emergencies. Jen has worked with all types of animals, including: cats, dogs, snakes, squirrels, lizards, birds, pigs, chickens, goats, llamas, alpacas, servals, lynx, cougars and even tigers.

    Jen's favorite thing about working in pet care is the ability to improve the lives of animals, and her favorite animals are Siberian Huskies and Bengal Cats. Jen has two cats at home.

    Heather "Hetti"

    Heather has worked at North Division Animal Medical Center since September of 2000. Through a recommendation of her friend, she began working as a receptionist, but soon moved on to be a valuable member of our technicians. Often times, Heather can be found giving extra attention to our animals; especially, those in Dog Ward and Cat Ward.

    Pets: 3 dogs and 4 cats.

    Mark
    School: Eastern Washington University, BA

    Mark has had several years experience working with, and caring for, a wide variety of animals both large and small. In addition to assisting our Medical Staff, Mark also works with The other Pet Care staff in our boarding area. He and his wife have two Welsh Corgis named Corbin and Sam, a Collie cross named Grifter, as well as several parrots and two rats.

    Stephanie
    Veterinary Tech School: Apollo College of Portland

    Stephanie has been with the VCA North Division team for several months and has been in her chosen field for the past few years. At age of three, after watching her family's vet work and has been fascinated with animal medicine ever since.
    Stephanie and her husband have several pets including their three horses; Mr., Asa and Bunny, three cats; Shelby, Digit and Chesney, and dog Carli.

    Carly Veillette

    Carly has always had pets. She grew up in a household that had a passion for the well-being of animals. The pet care field was a natural fit for her. Carly has worked in pet care for 2 years and grew up showing horses and participating in 4-H. Her favorite thing about working with animals is seeing gravely ill pets regain their health after a visit to our clinic.

    Carly's favorite types of dog are Pit Bulls and Great Danes. She currently has three dogs, one cat and ten horses.
