    Heidi S

    Heidi joined the VCA North Coast family in February of 2012 as a Registered Veterinary Technician and after 2 1/2 years of hard work and dedication, was promoted to Technician Supervisor in 2014. Heidi is owned by a chihuahua named Tito, a cat named Burt, and Isabel a Columbian Boa Constrictor. In her spare time Heidi enjoys playing ice hockey, yoga, running and hiking.

    Cara Z

    Cara joined the VCA North Coast family in 2008 as a Veterinary Technician when she moved to California. Cara attended school at Colorado Mountain College and graduated in 2006 from the AVMA accredited Veterinary Technician program. Cara has over 10 years of experience working in veterinary hospitals, and was promoted to one of our lead technician postions shortly after joining North Coast. Cara excels in  emergency medicine and prides herself in the patient care she provides. Cara's family includes her 2 dogs, Marley and Dacious, cat, Buca and 3 little fish. Cara enjoys being outdoors, hanging out at the beach, camping and taking trips to Baja with her husband.

    Christina S

    Christina joined the VCA family in 2014 and has been working in the veterinary  industry for 4 ½ years. Christina recently graduated from veterinary technician school and recently obtained her RVT license.Christina has always been a lover of all animals and has found her true calling, working with animals. Christina currently has 2 dogs, a boston terrier/Chihuahua mix named Gigi and a cocker spaniel named Narley she recently rescued. In her spare time Christina enjoys doing anything to keep Gigi and Narley happy and “calm.”

    Lisa T

    Lisa joined to VCA family in 2011 after retiring from her  successful career in the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. Lisa then went back to school and  earned her Registered Veterinary Technician license from San Diego Mesa College. Lisa shares her spare time with many different animal rescue organizations such as Project Wildlife, Emergency Animal Rescue, and the California Wolf Center in Julian, which is the breeding facility foe the critically endangered Mexican Grey Wolf. In her additional spare time Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her family exploring all of our National Parks in their motorhome, surf kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, strength training, and furthering her knowledge in anything she can get her hands on.

    Annie W

    Annie Wu joined the VCA North Coast family in 2010 and has yeras of experience in general practices as well as emergeny hospitals. Annie is one of our lead technicians that oversees our daily operations to ensure that every pet has the best experience possible. Annie has 2 dogs Dino and Bash and enjoys, surfing, reading, and spending time with her friends in her spare time.

    Alison B

    Alison "Ali" joined the VCA North Coast family in 2012 after moving from one of VCA's sister hospitals where she worked as the Overnight Emergecy Technician. Ali has agian taken on the the difficult task of being the Overnight Emergency Technician making sure that all of our patients continue to receive top notch care when everyone else is home sleeping. Ali has 3 dogs, The Worm, Wishbone, and Winnie that keep her company when our patients are settled and in bed. In her spare time Ali enjoys studying Astrophysics and Quantum Mechanics, and any spare time that leaves she spends reading classic literature. Needless to say, our patients learn quite a bit when they are here.

    Elena C

    Elena joined the VCA North Coast family in 2012. She has over 25 years of veterinary experience ranging from general practice to emergency/critical care and was recently promoted to lead technician. She has 2 Chihuahuas, Lula and Radar Love, 2 cats,  Edward Bunny Hopper and Bella, a Columbian Boa named Misssssisssssippi, a Corn snake named Kornelius, and a bearded dragon named Norbert. Elena lives in Encinitas with her two sons. She holds a BA in English Literature and a BA in European History and enjoys going to church, reading, soccer, and the beach.

    Imani C

    Imani joined the VCA family in 2014 and has worked in the veterinary field for 3 years, starting as a volunteer turned kennel assistant and then moving up to a  veterinary assistant. Imani has 3 pets at home, 2 dogs named Ricky and Honey and a rat named Cheeseburger! In her spare time Imani likes to volunteer with different organizations and work on as well as ride street bikes.

    Kiera joined the VCA North Coast Animal Hospital family in October 2011 as a  veterinary assistant. Kiera has spent 12 years working in general  practices as well as emergency hospitals. Kiera has 3 cats, Dipsy, Hacker & Kitten Mitten, 2 dogs,Maverick & Charlie and 1 rabbit Trixie, and her spare time is spent with her son Sebastian and her family.

    Veterinary Tech School: Pima Medical Institute

    Tiffany joined the VCA North Coast family in 2014 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute and plans to take her RVT test soona and is currently attending college with plans to become a veterinarian. Tiffany lives with her hognose snake Noodle, ball pythons Pytre & Nipsey, boa constrictors Easy B & Eve, bearded dragons Fireball & Jager, Chinchillas Chester & Chubbs and her spoiled eclectus parrot Mali.

    Veterinary Tech School: Pima Medical Institute

    Tarra joined the VCA North Coast family in 2014 and has been a veterinary assistant for 5 years. Tarra attended Pima Medical Institute for a veterinary assistant program and  is working towards becoming an RVT. In her spare  time, she loves taking her pit bull “Sampson” out to the dog beach.

    Ian M

    Ian joined the VCA North Coast family in 2008 as a veterinary assistant and took on the task of the graveyard shifts. Ian has over 10 years of experience working in emergency medicine and takes pride in being here for our patients when they need soemone the most. Ian is owned by a dog named Stanley that he rescued when he was just a puppy, since then Stanley accompanies Ian to work everyday and enjoys saying hello to all of us one by one when he gets here. In his spare time Ian likes to play music and create amazing works of art.

    Soledad V

    Soledad "Solly" Voytko joined the VCA North Coast family in 2005 starting out as a kennel assistant and it didn't take long with her determination to work her way up to a veterinary assistant. Solly is known around our hospital as the "Dental Queen" and has been an important staple in the hospitals growth over the years, our clients love to see her familiar face whenver they visit. Solly has a variety of pets, dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Solly loves to spend time with her husband, 3 sons, and grandson in her spare time.
