    Cara Z

    Cara joined the VCA North Coast family in 2008 as a Veterinary Technician when she moved to California. Cara attended school at Colorado Mountain College and graduated in 2006 from the AVMA accredited Veterinary Technician program. Cara has over 10 years of experience working in veterinary hospitals, and was promoted to one of our lead technician postions shortly after joining North Coast. Cara excels in  emergency medicine and prides herself in the patient care she provides. Cara's family includes her 2 dogs, Marley and Dacious, cat, Buca and 3 little fish. Cara enjoys being outdoors, hanging out at the beach, camping and taking trips to Baja with her husband.

    Heidi S

    Heidi joined the VCA North Coast family in February of 2012 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Heidi is owned by a chihuahua named Tito, a cat named Burt, and Isabel a Columbian Boa Constrictor. In her spare time Heidi enjoys playing ice hockey, yoga, running and hiking.

    Annie W

    Annie Wu joined the VCA North Coast family in 2010 and has yeras of experience in general practices as well as emergeny hospitals. Annie is one of our lead technicians that oversees our daily operations to ensure that every pet has the best experience possible. Annie has 2 dogs Dino and Bash and enjoys, surfing, reading, and spending time with her friends in her spare time.

    Alison B

    Alison "Ali" joined the VCA North Coast family in 2012 after moving from one of VCA's sister hospitals where she worked as the Overnight Emergecy Technician. Ali has agian taken on the the difficult task of being the Overnight Emergency Technician making sure that all of our patients continue to receive top notch care when everyone else is home sleeping. Ali has 3 dogs, The Worm, Wishbone, and Winnie that keep her company when our patients are settled and in bed. In her spare time Ali enjoys studying Astrophysics and Quantum Mechanics, and any spare time that leaves she spends reading classic literature. Needless to say, our patients learn quite a bit when they are here.

    Elena C

    Elena joined the VCA North Coast family in 2012 as a veterinary assistant. Elena has over 15 years of veterinary experience ranging from general practice to emergency/critical care. Elena's pets include a Neo Mastiff named Moose, Chihuahua named Lula, a fat orange tabby named Edward, and black DSH named Bella, she also have 3 red eared sliders name Porthos, Athos, and Aremis. In her spare time Elena spends as much time as possible with her beautiful kids, doing homework (In her 4th year of her BA - graduate in 11/12), goes to church, plays at the beach, and  watches as many soccer games as she can catch on TV.

    Kiera joined the VCA North Coast Animal Hospital family in October 2011 as a  veterinary assistant. Kiera has spent 12 years working in general  practices as well as emergency hospitals. Kiera has 3 cats, Dipsy, Hacker & Kitten Mitten, 2 dogs,Maverick & Charlie and 1 rabbit Trixie, and her spare time is spent with her son Sebastian and her family.

    Ian joined the VCA North Coast family in 2008 as a veterinary assistant and took on the task of the graveyard shifts. Ian has over 10 years of experience working in emergency medicine and takes pride in being here for our patients when they need soemone the most. Ian is owned by a dog named Stanley that he rescued when he was just a puppy, since then Stanley accompanies Ian to work everyday and enjoys saying hello to all of us one by one when he gets here. In his spare time Ian likes to play music and create amazing works of art.

    Jayson joined the VCA North Coast family in October of 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant. Jayson lives with two french bulddogs, a cat and a long haired Chihuahua mix and in his spare time he enjoys silkscreening and sewing.

    Christina S

    Christina joined the VCA family in 2014 and has been working in the veterinary  industry for 4 ½ years. Christina recently graduated from veterinary technician school and plans on taking her RVT test in August. Christina has always been a lover of all animals and has found her true calling, working with animals. Christina currently has one dog, a boston terrier/Chihuahua mix named Gigi. In her spare time Christina enjoys doing anything to keep Gigi happy and “calm.” Christina looks forward to having more pets soon, and even dreams of owning a goat!

    Soledad V

    Soledad "Solly" Voytko joined the VCA North Coast family in 2005 starting out as a kennel assistant and it didn't take long with her determination to work her way up to a veterinary assistant. Solly is known around our hospital as the "Dental Queen" and has been an important staple in the hospitals growth over the years, our clients love to see her familiar face whenver they visit. Solly has a variety of pets, dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Solly loves to spend time with her husband, 3 sons, and grandson in her spare time.

VCA North Coast Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
