Biography

Dr. Tracy Nicole Frey is a 2002 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, New York and was in general practice until 2004. She then joined Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, New Jersey for a 2 year surgery internship and 3 year surgery residency. Dr. Frey moved to California in 2009, joined the VCA family in 2010, and has been at VCA North Coast Animal Hospital since April 2012.

Dr. Frey enjoys all aspects of soft tissue surgery, particularly gastrointestinal and oncologic procedures. She has a special interest in pain management and critical care and will work closely with owners and referring veterinarians to provide the utmost compassionate care for her patients.

Dr. Frey’s little princess is a Pomeranian named “Pouf!” who’s favorite hobbies are spinning in circles, playing fetch, and attacking socks!

VCA North Coast Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
