Michelle Bateman, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Biography

Dr. Bateman is a Pennsylvania native and graduated with a BS from Bridgewater College in 2005. She is a 2009 graduate of Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Purdue University that same year. Following graduation, Dr. Bateman worked as a general practitioner in Middletown, Delaware until 2011 before making the transition to emergency and critical care positions in Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. Dr. Bateman worked in the emergency service here at VCA Newark Animal Hospital since April, 2013 and is excited to return to general practice!

Dr. Bateman spends her free time with her husband, daughter, three dogs, and one cat. Their hobbies include boating, hiking/running, and traveling.
