Biography

Born in Western Massachusetts and raised on Nantucket Island, Farleigh Krane, DVM, is happy to have joined the team at VCA New London Animal Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College and obtained her veterinary degree at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Before recently moving back to New England, Dr. Krane worked in both general and emergency practice in New Jersey and New York. Her medical interests include feline medicine, dermatology, and neurology. Outside of work, Dr. Krane likes to spend time with her family, including her husband (another veterinarian), their siamese mix cat, Georgia, and their yorkshire terrier, Lacey. Her favorite thing about being a veterinarian is providing excellent wellness and preventative care throughout all your pets' life stages. She looks forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
