    Kathy Dunkman
    Veterinary Tech School: Angell Memorial Animal Hosptial

    Kathy has been in the veterinary profession for over 20 years. She grew up in Massachusetts and began her career as a social worker. Her love for animals brought her to the veterinary profession and after several years in small veterinary practice accepted a position at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA where she earned her Certified Veterinary Technicians License. She received extensive training in anesthesia, surgical assisting and dentistry. Kathy moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL and for 10 years worked as the Regional Manager for six large hospitals. She relocated to Richmond, Va several years ago and worked with Dr. Engel at his previous practice. Kathy has a Jack Russell Terrier and a Boxer (and likes to say she has a Jack in the Box) both are rescues, a special needs Boston Terrier who is deaf and one cat.
