On October 9, 2010, VCA Neshaminy Animal Hospital once again participated in Gilda’s Club "Paws For Life" Dog walk. This annual event is run by the Delaware Valley Chapter of Gilda’s Club, named after the late comedian Gilda Radnor. Gilda’s Club provides support for families living with cancer in the Delaware Valley.

This year, 400 dogs and 600 people attended the event! There was fun for the entire family starting with a nice walk at Warminster Community Park, raffles, family activities and food. The highlight of the event is always the annual dog contests. VCA Neshaminy Animal Hospital had the privileged to have two of our veterinarians, Dr. Gray Newman, and Dr. Judith Friedman, asked judge the contest again this year.

Each year, we are humbled to be a small part in sponsorship of this terrific organization.  This year $69,000 was raised with the Paws For Life Dog Walk! These funds will provide for the local chapter of Gilda’s Club, enabling the club to offer support for anyone living with cancer, along with their family and friends.
