I was born in MO but my father was in the USAF so we moved around a lot. I consider Vegas to be my home town as I have been here most of my life and graduated from Rancho H.S.
I have over 25 yrs experience in the veterinary field. I have always known that I wanted to work with animals from a very young age. I started right out of high school as a kennel attendant with the intention of going to Veterinary School. I attended UNLV as premed but then decided that I would rather have a more hands-on experience with the patients so I gradually moved up to veterinary assistant. I attended the first Vet Tech Program at CSN and got my LVT license in 1999.
I really enjoy doing dental cleanings and making a really yucky mouth look great with pearly white teeth. I enjoy sharing the benefits made to these patients inside and out.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my two children. We enjoy going on outings to museums, state parks and traveling. I also like reading, movies, concerts and plays.
I have two dogs: Ginger & Bernie
Three cats: Skittles, Bubby & Katie Purry.
I also have a rabbit, guinea pig and tropical fish

I moved to Las Vegas from California in 1985 and have lived here for 28 years. I have 4 dogs of which 3 are dogs that I rescued. My time is usually spent relaxing at home, but I am always up for whatever if the opportunity arises. I graduated high school in 1993 and did not decide to go to school to be a veterinary technician until 2006. I finished school and began my internship right here at VCA Nellis in the summer of 2007 and was hired as an employee shortly thereafter. I enjoy trying to make sure that the clients and pets leave here happy. I also can be that shoulder to cry on if that’s the case too.

Eli worked with VCA Nellis 11 years ago and found her way back to our family in June 2014, and we're glad she did! A loyal vegan Eli loves helping animals and the environment. When she's not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, Rocky a 9 year old boxer, and Ginger a 2 year old Heinz 57, both rescues.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. About 10 years ago, I moved to Las Vegas. My first job in the veterinary field was at VCA Nellis in 1994. I enjoy all aspects of my job, whether it is giving vaccines or taking care of sick and injured pets.
I have three dogs: Brutis (a chocolate lab), Sadie (a boxer), and Lil Pooper (a mix).
I am originally from the Stockton/Modesto area of California but have been living here in Las Vegas for over 17 years. I have been working in the veterinary field since April 2001 and absolutely love helping animals every day. When I am not working, I enjoy camping, riding quads out in the desert, hiking, going to the lake, or anything outside.
I have two dogs, a Chihuahua and a hound mutt mix. I also have two cats and a rabbit.

Javier Garcia joined our VCA Nellis team in June of 2015. Javier served our country in the US Army for over 20 years. After retiring from the Army, Javier wanted to work with animals and we're glad he did! When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his two boys, and their furry family members; an English bulldog named Khalessi and 2 guinea pigs named Jack and Barbosa.

Born and raised in Las Vegas I've had a love for animals since I was young. My aunt and uncle had horses and I've always had dogs and cats with my parents. I've wanted to own my own animal rescue center for the less fortunate animals. I've been a foster parent through the Animal Foundation for about 2 years and enjoy every minute. I mostly foster pitbulls. I'm a huge advocate for the breed. My other hobbies include writing, drawing and being outdoors, but my main passion is and always will be my love for animals. I currently own a maine coon named Bane and 2 cockatiels.
