Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hosp gets four paws up-Tracy Kasten Steinberg from Yonkers, NY
Pet Name: Snuggles
We had an amazing bulldog named Snuggles, and just as many other bulldog owners, we would do anything and everything for her. As 'new parents', we began going to a local vet, but as time went by, we realized she was not getting the special attention she needed. We did our research and ended up out on LI at Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hospital and its caring (and well-educated) staff. We are from lower Westchester and spent the past several years trekking out to LI for all her necessary vet visits (and I must admit there were many, as bullies tend to need medical help many times a year!) Although our little girl is no longer with us, she was very well taken care of by the fantastic staff. They were extremely caring, compassionate, helpful and patient with us. They were always happy to spend extra time with us answering every question imaginable and giving the best advice for us and our bully. When the time is right, we hope to get another 'kid' (hopefully a bully) and will definitely continue to trek out to Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hospital for our all vet visits. It's great to know that a veterinary hospital exists where all the staff members are as kind and welcoming as they are. We hope to be back soon with a new patient for them to take care of. :)

The entire staff at Nassau-Suffolk are the best.-Phyllis Napolitano from Farmingdale, NY
For anyone with a pet, the only place to go for care, grooming, and boarding, is Nassau-Suffolk - they are just wonderful.
The kindness begins when you enter the front door - the receptionists Susan, Marion, Amber, and Oriana, are always friendly, helpful, and treat the pets and owners as friends, and this includes Tia, the manager Carl's dog. Tia is a love and we look forward to seeing her whenever we are there.
Carl, the manager, is just great to all the animals and owners and makes sure that everything runs smoothly and that all are treated like friends and family.
The techs, Ian, Dave, Diana, and Willie, are all great with the dogs and pets and are gentle and kind to all of them.
The groomer, Anna, does a wonderful job with the dogs.
Drs. Haagenseon, Oddo, and Baffa are excellent and very caring. They treat the animals as if they were their own.
The entire staff at Nassau-Suffolk are the best.

The Best Around-Meredith from Farmingdale, NY
Pet Name: Ruby
I started a brand new full-time job and needed to find a place to watch my puppy. I spoke with and met Diana, one of the vet techs and she put me completely at ease that Ruby would be in good hands at Nassau Suffolk. Diana answered all of my questions/concerns. I take my puppy 5 days a week there for day boarding and she loves going! I can tell that they do such a fantastic job with Ruby. I switched to Nassau Suffolk for full time vet services and just had Ruby spayed there. The staff and doctors are not only very knowledgeable, they really care about animals and it shows! I tell everyone about them and would not go anywhere else.
Very through, loving and patient staff-Kristin from Merrick, NY
Pet Name: Skye
We have been taking our pets to Nassau-Suffolk for over 12 years. Our cat Skye boarded there and was under all the doctors care since 1999. They are a loving group of people for animals and their owners. We boarded my 12 year old cat Skye while under the doctors care while away on vacation. He wasn't doing well and they called me several times a day to keep us updated on his condition. He wasn't eating and when we came back we ran many more tests. He ended up having an abdominal tumor and Skye recently passed away. I can't tell you how genuinely caring the whole staff was toward Skye and to our family. Everyone loved Skye there and we can't thank Dr. Minch, Dr. Baffa and the whole staff for their care and concern. We recently have a new cat Coco and she has already been seen by Dr. Minch. Although our new cat can't replace Skye we are happy to return to such an outstanding facility to care for our new pet.
Compassionate Staff-Kendra from Massapequa, NY
Like so many others, our pets are members of our family. So, you can imagine how difficult is was for us when our aging Akita "Bailey" suffered a severe stroke and was unable to move. Bailey was never good at going to the doctor's office and we were surprised when we called our regular vet that he would not make a house call. Luckily, a neighbor told us of a hospital in Farmingdale that she thought made house calls. Even though we were not regular clients of Nassau Suffolk, the hospital manager Carl fit us in to their schedule and within an hour was at my house with a doctor who examined Bailey. The doctor agreed that putting Bailey to sleep was the best thing for him. The entire procedure took only a few minutes. Bailey spent his last minutes at home.
We miss Bailey, but thank Nassau Suffolk for being there.
