Biography

Dr. Lee-Salerno completed her BS in Biology at Hofstra University in 2002 followed by an AAS in Veterinary Technology from Suffolk Community College and practiced as a Vet Tech for 10 years before attending Saint George's University where she also took Master's level classes in Wildlife Conservation Medicine. She spent three months in Uganda working with buffalo, zebras, lions and other indigenous species monitoring herd health and educating local people of the importance of these animals.  Dr. Lee spent 13 months rotating in a small animal medicine and surgical internship at a 24 hour medical hospital.  Currently Dr. Lee lives with her husband and son in the new house they purchased along with their two dogs Missy and Molly.
