Kennel SupervisorKara Dunahee
Kara has been with our team since early 2013. Her previous work included being a bartender and a patient care assistant of handicap adults. She is responsible for taking care of the animals while they are in the hospital for boarding/bathing/day care. She enjoys playing with them and loving on them when they are here. Her current animal companions are a Dachshund named Jersey who is 3 Years old. Her favorite dog breeds are the Dachshund and the Italian Greyhound. Her interests outside of work include spending time with family and her Dachshund, watching movies, and taking road trips.
Kara believes that life is better if it's spent with pets and while she only currently has one of her own, she feels like the pets that come see her at VCA are like her step children...she loves getting to see them and is sad when they leave!
