    Megan joined VCA Animal Care Center in January 2012.  Prior to joining VCA, she graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a BS in Business Management and worked at Birmingham Heart Clinic for 6 years during and after college and graduated with her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She transferred to our hospital from VCA Becker Animal Hospital in Birmingham, AL where she'd been since 2007. She has been a hospital manager in the VCA family since June 2007. She enjoys educating pet owners about pet healthcare, providing excellent customer service, and having fun at work. She enjoys interacting with the humans who love animals and helping them take care of the 4 legged members of their family. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, kayaking, traveling, reading, donating platelets and spending time with her cat, Biscuit and her dog, Forrest.

    Megan has been working in the medical field since she was 16, she enjoys the fact that this career allows her to help people and animals at the same time.
