    My name is Chelsee Lopez. I have been with Monte Vista since 2001. I also worked for the Contra Costa Emergency Center for a few months. I have 5 dogs, 2 cats, and a turtle. I'm currently in the progress of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. My favorite color is red and I also do pet house sitting after work.

    Kristen Martinez

    My name is Kristen Martinez. I grew up in Southern California and have always had a fascination with animals and a love to care for them. I went to school at Cal Poly Pomona where I received my bachelor of science degree in Animal health Science. I then became registered witht the State of California as a licensed veterinary technician. I joined the VCA family in 2005 while going to college and in 2011 transfered to become part of the incredible VCA Monte Vista Animal hospital family.  Shortly after I maried my husband in 2012, we had 1 furry four legged child, a male cat named Phineas.

    Shaneen Deshenes

    Shaneen has been in the Veterinary field since 2004. After years of unsatisfying jobs, Shaneen got her wish and joined the veterinary field as a technician. Shaneen has been working at Monte Vista since 2013. Shaneen has a loud personality and can be heard all over the clinic, and also has a beautiful little boy, Vinnie who is 5. Shaneen has 2 dachshunds and 2 cats, but loves all of yours as her own!

    Stephanie Goins

    Stephanie, a high energy veterinary assistant, joined the VCA team in 2010 in Benicia, then transferred to Monte Vista in 2012. She has been in the veterinary field for about 5 years. Stephanie has always had a love for all animals and growing up she always brought home new pets from cats and dogs to lizards and rodents. Currently, Stephanie has 2 dogs (Pariah and LD Girl), and 3 cats (Aspen, Willow, and Sequoia).

    Keyara Young

    My name is Keyara Young and I have 3 dogs and a cat. I started working for Monte Vista Animal Hospital in 2012, and I enjoy every moment of it! I am currently attending Penn Foster College to achieve my AA degreee in Animal Science and to become an RVT.
