Angela grew up in South Orange County and graduated from JSerra Catholic High School in 2007. She moved to Connecticut to attend the University of New Haven for her BS in Forensic Science and BS in Biotechnology. Upon passing her MCATs she decided to move home to be close to family and continue work on her masters in Molecular Biology and Veterinary Forensics. She is currently finishing her masters and becoming a veterinary technician so that she can further pursue veterinary school in next couple of years. When she is not working or attending school, she can be found at the stables running around with her two wonderful horses!
I grew up in California but lived for 20 years in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I moved back to California in 2008 and that is when I began working here at VCA Mission Viejo Animal Hospital. I love to travel and have two pets, Scooby a stubborn Jack Russell Terrier and Pokey-Boris a very sweet kitty cat.
When Heidi isn't hard at work at VCA she enjoys her time with her two dogs Mandy and Flynn and her horse Blaze. Mandy is an energetic Great Pyrenees/Labradoodle who keeps Heidi on her toes. Flynn is a rescuce, but the real question is: who rescued who? Heidi has owned horses for the last 25 years, and she has been caring for Blaze for the last 5 years. Animals will always be apart of her life because they bring her such joy.
Laura was a Texas native but couldn’t stay away from the sunny California beaches! Working on a degree in Biology, Laura plans to pursue her passion for both medicine and animals. She is very excited to be a member of the VCA family and is excited to meet you and your pets! When she is not working or studying she enjoys time with her furbabies.
