Kennel AssistantTammy E
Tamrah has been aspiring to become a Veterinarian since she was 7 years old. She grew up in Mission Viejo with many animals in her home: iguanas, rabbits, cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. She completed her first semester at Professional Veterinarian Assistant School, which included an externship at VCA Arroyo Animal hospital. From there she received a job working for a sister hospital, VCA Saddleback, as a receptionist. Shortly thereafter she was given the opportunity to work more closely with the animals at VCA Mission Viejo Animal hospital where she is now a Pet Care Specialist. Tamrah loves what she does everyday and is looking forward to what the future may hold for her in the veterinarian field.
Kennel AssistantJeremy K
Jeremy joined VCA Mission Viejo in 2013. He holds an MA and Ph.D in English Renaissance literature and has taught at colleges and universities in Indiana, Maryland, and California. After a successful and fulfilling career as a scholar and teacher, he decided it was finally time to follow his true passion, working with animals. He is currently taking courses in preparation for veterinary school in pursuit of a DVM. When he’s not studying, taking care of hospitalized or boarding pets, or volunteering at animal shelters, he enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, watching football and soccer, and spending time with his wife and their 2 dogs and 3 cats.
