Kennel AssistantTammy E
Tamrah has been aspiring to become a Veterinarian since she was 7 years old. She grew up in Mission Viejo with many animals in her home: iguanas, rabbits, cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. She completed her first semester at Professional Veterinarian Assistant School, which included an externship at VCA Arroyo Animal hospital. From there she received a job working for a sister hospital, VCA Saddleback, as a receptionist. Shortly thereafter she was given the opportunity to work more closely with the animals at VCA Mission Viejo Animal hospital where she is now a Pet Care Specialist. Tamrah loves what she does everyday and is looking forward to what the future may hold for her in the veterinarian field.

Kennel AssistantHalas L.
Halas lives in Corona with her 4 dogs: Bockshil the Jindo, Dezal the Pomeranian-American Eskimo, Tiffany the Pomeranian, and Pixii the Toy Poodle. She has been pursuing a career in veterinary medicine for as long as she could remember because she has a passion for animals and helping them in any way she can. She is currently a third year college student at Irvine Valley College, planning to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona to major in animal science. By next fall, she will be applying to veterinary medical school. When not volunteering at animal shelters or playing with her dogs, Halas enjoys spending time with her family, going to Disneyland, and learning about wild and exotic animals.
Heather has always had a love for animals of all sorts, ever since she was a small child. She grew up around animals her whole life and knew in her heart some day she wanted to work with them.
Heather went to school to become a hair stylist and completed her certification for cosmetology in 2009 but working with human hair wasn't cutting it. She then started her career path with VCA and has been working with and learning from the best groomers in the business.
Heather also has taken and completed courses at the Super Zoo Expo in Las Vegas and her knowledge of professional grooming has expanded vastly. Even being nicknamed "The Poodle Princess" because of her expertise in grooming the poodle breed but her grooming capabilities exceed that of just the poodle, she can groom any type of breed both dogs and cats. Heather absolutely loves what she does and it shows! She takes pride in her work and wants to make your animal feel and look the best, with lots of love too! So bring your fuzzy fur babies by for her to give them a great groom along with a great experience!
