VCA Mission Animal Hospital

Veterinary Support

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Patty Flores

My name is Patty and I have been with the VCA Mission family for 5 years, but have been working in the veterinary field for 16 years. I enjoy working with wild life, as it inspires me to keep learning about the constant changes in veterinary medicine. On my days off I enjoy spending time with my family and relaxing at home.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Tania Hernandez

My name is Tania and I've been working in the veterinary field for 13 years and have been with the VCA Mission family for 7 years now. I absolutely love caring for animals, but the most rewarding part of me being here is I'm given the opportunity to help and see patients live a full and healthy life. Seeing my 4 dogs, 6 cats, 4 birds, 3 koi fish, and soft shell turtle reminds me of why my passion for animal care is so strong.

In my free time I love to go out and spend the day enjoying life with my loving and supportive family

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Ray Perez

Hi, my name is Ray and I'm a veterinary technician here at VCA Mission. I started out as a kennel attendant and over the course of 6 years worked my up to technician assistant. I love all types of animals, and couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life.

In my free time I enjoy hiking with friends, dog-walking,  riding my Schwinn around town and antique shopping.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
