    Veterinary Tech School: Platt College

My name is Alanna and I have been a veterinary assistant with VCA Mission since September 2014 and am very excited to be a part of the VCA Mission family! I have always had a soft spot for all animals, even as a child.  I have been working in the veterinary field for about 5 years now, first as a kennel attendant  and eventually working my way up to a veterinary assistant. What inspired me to become a veterinary assistant was watching how other veterinary assistants cared for and tended to all patients. From there, I decided to attend Platt College to become a registered veterinary technician. I have 2 dogs of my own, a mini beagle name Laila and a Chihuahua/Pomeranian named Tigerlily.

    Patty Flores

My name is Patty and I have been with the VCA Mission family for 9 years, but have been working in the veterinary field for over 16 years. I love cats and dogs alike, and also enjoys working with birds, exotics and reptiles as it inspires me to keep learning about the constant changes in veterinary medicine.
