  • Kennel Assistant

    Joshua Avila

I began my journey with VCA Mission in September 2014. I have 14 year old Lhasa Apso named Daisy whom I adore and is my best friend. I love that everyday I get to come into work and play and take care of so many animals. There is nothing better than seeing their wagging tails and happy faces when I take them for a walk or prepare their meals for them. Come by and visit me and Daisy anytime!

    Rose Fischer

I've been a part of the VCA Mission family since June 2013 and have been in the veterinary field for over 13 years. I'm currently going to school for my RVT license.Working with animals is my passion and making sure all of our four-legged friends are well taken care of. I currently have no pets, but I'm sure in time that will change.

    Irma Lozano

Hi! I'm Irma and have been with VCA Mission since December 2009 and began my career here as a groomer. I then transitioned to Kennel Attendant and I absolutely love taking care of all the pets who come through Mission's door! I have 4 dogs, Jack, Cha Cha, Midnight and Energy and a quirky Siamese cat named Kitty Newman. I take care of all boarding pets as if they were my own and give each and every boarder equal amounts of love and affection. If you'd like to visit our boarding facility, come on in and I will gladly give you a tour.

    Mya Suryan

My name is Mya and I started working in the veterinary field when I was 14 years old, volunteering at many animal hospitals in the Pasadena area. I'm definitely a cat person, but I also love exotics! I have a bearded dragon  named Rambo who is about 2 years old. I'm currently attending Platt College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician and my dream is to become an exotic veterinarian. Come in and visit us anytime. I can give you a tour of our boarding facility, answer any questions you may have about your pet's stay here with us and know that your little one is in great hands and will be given lots of love while here.
