Dr. Juhi Shah is a Canadian native who moved countries to join the VCA Mission Animal and Bird Hospital. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a bachelor's degree in immunology and infection, she obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Calgary. Her special areas of interest include preventive care, internal medicine, behavior and general small animal medicine. Dr. Shah has also received training from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Calgary Zoo, and is eager to practice exotic animal medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Shah and her husband enjoy exploring the outdoors and all that beautiful San Diego has to offer.
