    Laura Blickensdorfer

Laura and her husband Joe moved to Florida from New York in 2004. At first she thought she would never fit in. But when she started working at Miracle Mile Animal Clinic that all changed. For the first time in my life I can actually say that I do love what I’m doing. I’ve always liked my jobs in the past but there is a totally different atmosphere here at VCA Miracle Mile. Everyone here from the kennel staff to the hospital manager and everyone in between genuinely cares about the animals in our care and the clients also. I think it really shows everyday at our practice and it makes me truly proud to be a part of it.

Lisa came to work for VCA in January of 2010 and at that time had no pets and after a short time decided she needed a pet and adopted "Eli" from animal services and he has become a big part of her and her sons life.I like to work here at VCA Miracle Mile because I enjoy the interaction between our clients and their pets. I enjoy being part of a team that is dedicated to the work they do to ensure our clients and their pets get the best care possible.

I’ve always had a love & interest in animals (except for spiders) ever since I can remember. I decided I really wanted to learn more about the veterinary field as an assistant when I got my first and only dog Baloo. He’s a 4 year old lab/German shepherd/pit-bull mix. I love how happy Baloo makes me feel, even on the worst of days; and I enjoy doing my job to see that same caring, loving feeling others have with their pets both big & small. Working with animals is a very family oriented field & that’s is why I do what I do & enjoy doing it at VCA Miracle Mile.

Ever since I was a little kid I've always had a great amount of love for animals, I grew up around all sorts of pets and farm animals, so the love I had just kept growing. I always told myself that one day I would work with animals, when I found out I was given the opportunity to work at VCA Miracle Mile Animal Hospital I was thrilled! Nothing makes me happier than to be able to work and be around all the pets that come in. I have always belived that each and every animal has a soul.
