Receptionist SupervisorLaura Blickensdorfer
Laura and her husband Joe moved to Florida from New York in 2004. At first she thought she would never fit in. But when she started working at Miracle Mile Animal Clinic that all changed. For the first time in my life I can actually say that I do love what I’m doing. I’ve always liked my jobs in the past but there is a totally different atmosphere here at VCA Miracle Mile. Everyone here from the kennel staff to the hospital manager and everyone in between genuinely cares about the animals in our care and the clients also. I think it really shows everyday at our practice and it makes me truly proud to be a part of it.
Lisa came to work for VCA in January of 2010 and at that time had no pets and after a short time decided she needed a pet and adopted "Eli" from animal services and he has become a big part of her and her sons life.I like to work here at VCA Miracle Mile because I enjoy the interaction between our clients and their pets. I enjoy being part of a team that is dedicated to the work they do to ensure our clients and their pets get the best care possible.
I’ve always had a love & interest in animals (except for spiders) ever since I can remember. I decided I really wanted to learn more about the veterinary field as an assistant when I got my first and only dog Baloo. He’s a 4 year old lab/German shepherd/pit-bull mix. I love how happy Baloo makes me feel, even on the worst of days; and I enjoy doing my job to see that same caring, loving feeling others have with their pets both big & small. Working with animals is a very family oriented field & that’s is why I do what I do & enjoy doing it at VCA Miracle Mile.
Peggy is married with 2 daughters and has worked at VCA Miracle Mile Animal Clinic for 27 years. I really enjoy people a lot, but people who love animals are particularly special. They tend to be warm and kind with charming anecdotes about their pets. It is also a pleasure to be involved with the patients many whom we’ve known since puppy or kitten-hood. We get to watch them grow and become fun little companions for their owners, and we enjoy the updates and little tales of their daily life. There is a certain family like quality about this work environment which I find appealing.
