My Best Friend

Pet Name: GusOn June 1st I had to say good-by to my little "Noah". It was a very traumatic experience for me losing my best little friend. I rescued Noah when he was only 10 weeks old. I went to work one weekend at the hospital and he was sitting on a dirt pile just waiting for me. I took him home and he was with me for 11 wonderful years. He was the most loving little boy I've ever had. I just want to thank Dr's Beckett, Lenhart, and Jake Ryan and the rest of the staff for the wonderful loving care they gave to me and Noah. I loved the paw prints and the awesome card! I will be calling for an appointment in about 6 weeks. I'm taking a baby and will want him to meet the Dr's and the staff. His name will be "Gus". Noah would want me to love another unfortunate little boy.

They saved me when no one would help my Mom
-Sr Stryker Borsick from Columbus, OHHello I am Sr Stryker, and for the last 2 1/2 days I have worried my Mom sick. I started passing blood in my urine and the emergency room visit was too expensive. I made it through the night to have all the Vets my Mom called say We do not have any appointments till ?? (days later)... On the third day another Vet referred my Mom to VCA in Hillard, Ohio they said bring him in and we will work out a payment plan. See the problem was that my Mom did not get paid till Friday and no other Vet would work with her, they wanted payment in full before even looking at me. If it was not for the loving and supportive staff at VCA Animal Hospital my Mom would have lost me..... I LOVE YOU ALL that helped my Mom get me back on my paws, she would have been just devastated if she lost me...(typed by my Mom Anna Borsick)

Dr. Deal has been there for us since day one. She treated Gatsby for routine checkups until we found out he had lymphoma. She helped me make payment plans so I could pay for chemotherapy when I had no income and that gave me more than 6 months with him that I thought I wouldn't have, unfortunately the cancer just hit him too hard and he was done fighting.. He went out of remission and on his 5th birthday we had to put him down. :'( The whole staff loved him and I could really tell that. He had a lot of friends there and they really treated him great. Thank you all so much for everything you've done for us I'll never forget the love everyone there showed for Gatsby and how much Dr. Deal did for us. -
Dr. Beckett and Staff

Dr. Beckett and the entire team seem to genuinely care for my 6.5 year old Bull mastiff named Rupert. Rupert is a timid guy, but the staff treats him with the care and attention he needs. Other friends and family are amazed when I tell them how above and beyond Dr. Beckett and the staff go in their loving care of my prized possession weighing in @ 130 with plenty of drool to go along with his size. The loss of my best friend Bandit

On 3-26-11 I put my beloved dog Bandit down at your hospital. It was so traumatic for me and I wanted to say how nice Randy and the 2 vet techs that helped were (I forget their names). When I picked up Bandit's ashes today it was so nice to read the cards you sent - it made me cry. I love the pin and her paw print! In my time of grief you all really helped me get through it and I could feel you grieve with me. Thank you so much. -

VCA came highly recommended through a friend, and we are so glad we took his advice! Gracie does get nervous when we visit, but everyone there is so friendly! They show Gracie so much love, and she adores the attention. Dr. Crisp is so wonderful with us and with Gracie. She always answers our questions and takes time with us and our pup. We appreciate you all so much! -
Beyond just medical care...like visiting family

Even when going to VCA Mill Run was just normal visits for shots and checkups, I was impressed with Dr. Deal and the staff at VCA. Always a smile, always patient with answering questions, and always making me and my dog feel like we were their exclusive VIP patient. Then my dog Bailey had a crisis and needed an operation to save his life - and Dr. Beckett stepped in with the most compassionate care and skill, making sure that he touched base with me both before and after the operation. Because of him and the staff, I was blessed with 3 extra months with Bailey. On that experience alone I would recommend VCA Mill Run. Then I started fostering rescue dogs and that was when what I felt about the excellence of VCA Mill Run was reinforced. Rescue dogs do not come squeaky clean - they each have different physical and emotional needs. And sometimes their needs come at odd hours of the day or on a Sunday morning. Every time the vets and the staff (especially Dr. Beckett and Dr. Deal) were there for me and my babies. Always accommodating my schedule and the patient's needs - always comforting me and understanding when I would lose one. Also treating my babies like royalty when they were boarded. I have been taking our cat Dusty to Dr Beckett for years. In my opinion, he saved her life! She had a really severe case of UTI and if not for him, I believe she would not be with us. We recently moved about 35 minutes away from VCA but still take her there and we have recently taken our new pets there as well. Not only is Dr Beckett wonderful but so is the entire staff. They are always very kind and sincere! Thank you Dr Beckett and VCA staff. We love you guys!!! -
The Best
-Carol from Hilliard, OHI have been with VCA for many years even before they were VCA. All the doctors are great. The vet techs and front desk staff are very caring and helpful. I have been to both VCA in Hilliard and Sawmill Rd. I reccommend them to everyone. Dr. Beckett is terrifc!! Keep up the great care.

Pet Name: LolaIf Business Weekly did a "Best Hospital" survey and asked me I would nominate VCA Animal Hospital! Dr Beckett and his staff are the best. The best Doctor and the best staff. My dog "Lola" had surgery on Friday the 13th. Doc and staff were extremely accommodating to my needs and schedule. When the surgery was finished Dr. Beckett called me and gave me a detailed explanation of the surgery. I needed to see my pup that evening. I was late. Doc stayed and talked with me and answered all my questions and never once made me feel like the most neurotic dog mom in America. Ditto for his staff, the receptionist to the Vet Tech-do wish I could remember everyone's name-and thank them personally. Extremely patient and empathetic, above and beyond. Yes, simply the best!
