Like Part of the Family
-Betty Johnson from Irving, TX
Pet Name: Jessie, Max, Nemo and Beth ShebaI've been using VCA Metroplex in Irving since 2006. I originally came to them for boarding - I absolutely love being able to pick up my dogs 24/7. We've run the gamut with VCA - from the joy of a new puppy to the death of a beloved member of the family. The staff is awesome - we've carried in a sick puppy wrapped in a blanket and had the staff come from around the desk to help us; we've called before dawn when we awoke to find our Hannah had passed away during the night and been met at the door, given a room and time to say goodbye and been assisted with arrangements for cremation; we've called while boarding our dogs to tell them we were delayed due to a hurricane and didn't know when we would be able to get them and were told not to worry, they'd be fine and to take care of ourselves (we were three days late); we've had to make medical decisions and were given options and pricing estimates for treatment and were never pushed to stretch beyond our budget nor made to feel guilty. We also use the grooming services and our dogs look great. Mishell and her staff do an amazing job and remember us and our pet family. If we bring in one of the dogs, they always ask about the others. Working with VCA to keep our pets healthy and happy has been a great experience and we would never think of taking our dogs anywhere else.

Big Red
-Vickie Neyra from Mesquite, TX
Pet Name: RedOur beloved Red was taken to VCA on a Thursday by my sister. We were out of town for medical reasons, so the stress of not being with him was almost unbearable. Thanks to Dr. Green and Rikki our worries were minimized. We were kept informed and updated with his progress. Though our time with him may be short, we are thankful for every moment that they have given us. Also big thanks to the staff who cared for him and made him feel comfortable. We are forever in your debt. Thank you so very much for taking care of our sweet boy.

Wonderful People
-Vera Mowery from dallas, TX
Pet Name: PeanutWe have gone to the Irving Location on Airport Freeway twice now. Both emergencies with 3 different pets. The first time we went our grand-daughters dog Chloe got hit by a hit and run driver. Her injuries were extensive and we had to put her to sleep. The staff was wonderful and caring, about a week later we received a condolence card from them. This week we had to take our Peanut who got very sick, they were so kind to help us with him. They are a very giving and caring group of people.

Dr. B is the BEST
-Deanna Britton from Irving, TXAt one point my bloodhound, Daisy almost lost her haring for life, due to a really bad ear infection this time last year. Since then, Dr. "B" has taken the best care of her.

Jake
-Sherry Miller from Dallas, TX
Pet Name: JakeThe care and compassion your team showed this past Sunday (9/11) to me and the love of my life Jake was very much appreciated. Jake's vet of 13 years, VCA in Desoto was not available Sunday to take my emergency with Jake. I knew in my heart it was time to let go of Jake, and I wanted Jake to be with Dr. Tabone and his staff as that is what he is familiar with. However, I didn't want Jake to suffer another night. Your staff was kind, compassionate, and very understanding of the pain I was feeling. I will never forget your kindness and I do thank you for the time you spent with me and Jake. My life will never be the same. I miss him so very much.

Wonderful place
-Megan from Irving, TX
Pet Name: SadieTwo weeks ago we had to put our 16 year old collie, Sadie, to sleep. Her health had been deteriorating and it eventually got to the point where she was unable to walk, even to go to the bathroom or get water. We decided it was time to put her to sleep. Since it was a Sunday, our only option was to take her to the VCA in Irving instead of our family Vet. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to help and comfort us! They explained the process, gave us as much time as we needed before and after, and were incredibly understanding and helpful throughout. A few days later, we even got a handwritten card with a personal message from the Vet signed by all the staff. I have been to the VCA once before when my cat took a bad fall and had a wonderful experience then as well. But the way they took care of us during that extremely painful event, was not something I expected from an emergency care clinic. These guys are absolutely wonderful and my family and I will never forget their kindness!

Sensitive staff
-Sarah from Irving, TX
Pet Name: JackI'm waiting on lab results and have called to check on them several times. While the clinic cannot control the time frame and are in an unfair position as "middle man", they've been sensitive and helpful and trying to obtain the results promptly. I appreciate that they understand that waiting is extremely stressful when your pet's health is at stake. Special kudos to Crystal and Dr. B!

Exceptional Service
-Sarah from Irving, TXI've used VCA both for emergencies and non-emergencies, and have left feeling like my pets received exceptional care each time. Each vet that has treated my pets has shown great care in treating them, by asking thorough, relevant questions and providing a course of treatment that suits their needs. I've also always been given additional information for future recurrences or other ailments that my dog may have, even if unrelated to the current reason for my visit. I've found their prices to be only slightly higher than my regular vet, and considering the convenience and quality of the care they provide, they'll now be my go-to vet, along with my holistic veterinarian.

Abby Kitty
-Diana Wilson from Grand Prairie, TXOur normal Vet, Dr. Hulka from Green Oaks North in Arlington, transferred our kitty, Abby, to VCA as his office didn't have 24 hour care. We when arrived the staff at VCA was there to greet us and made way and room for her. She was in serious distress from me accidentally putting K9 Advantix on her instead of her Flea/Heartworm treatment. K9 Advantix is lethal to cats!! Our vet did what he could and to us was heroic but VCA continued treatment with around the clock care. Dr. Green was a jewel! She majored in emergency medicine for animals and you can tell she has the compassion and diligence it takes to provide top notch care for your pet. We would arrive to see our kitty and would be promptly greeted and updated with her latest condition. The staff and doctors (Drs. Green, Clark and Eaton), made us extremely comfortable with allowing us to hold, caress and comfort our kitty. She made it through; Thanks will never be quite enough! The teamwork is unbelievable! If you need emergency care, this is the place!
