    Trilby Loch

    I have been with VCA Metroplex since the summer of 2010 and am enjoying the fast pace of our hospital. Previously I worked at another Veterinary Clinic for almost 17 years as the Mgr/Vet Assistant. I enjoy working with animals and their owners. Currently I have a dog, cat, rabbit and 3 horses. In my spare time I enjoy riding and spending time with my family.

    Ruby Avitia

    Ruby has been an employee with VCA Metroplex since March of 2008. Prior to joining the VCA family she worked in the pet boarding and daycare industry and has a genuine love of animals. She's currently a proud parent of Evette, Victoria, Jocelyn, Chloe, Weenie & Shakira.

    Krystal Edwards

    Krystal arrived to VCA Metroplex in September 2009 with the 183 Animal Hospital merger. She started at 183 in April of 1999. She has two adorable children: Karolina  and Joseph. She also is the proud pet parent of 3 cats: Gracie, Simon, and Polly. She also has one crazy dog named Meadow.

    Jesse Gonzales

    Jesse has been with VCA Metroplex since July 2009. He has four dogs named Big Worm, Kiwi, Luna, and  a blind dog, Macy Gray. Jesse moved from being a veterinary technician to being a CSR. He loves animals! He is also a DJ and during his spare time he enjoys music.

    Heather Hooper

    Heather has worked at VCA Metroplex Animal Hospital since September 2000 and in the veterinary field for twelve. She has two cats, Sasha and Diggers, named after the world-renown dj. She also has Norman, a white lab pyrenese mix, always has a crazy colored mohawk and just loves daycare. She also works as a groomer. In rare free time, she enjoys photography and live music.

    I have been with VCA Metroplex since the summer of 2012 and am learning a lot in a fast paced environment. I am currently attending Cedar Valley College and majoring in veterinary technology. I have one parrot, a military macaw named Bullet.

    I became part of the VCA family in June of 2012. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician. I have two dogs, Simba a Pitt bull terrier mix and Bear a Bouvier De Flanders. I like to keep myself busy so when I am not at work I am at school or home with my family and dogs.

    Jennifer Steigerwald

    My name is Jennifer Steigerwald I have been working for VCA since July 2013 and before working here I was working at a small clinic in grand prairie for over a year. I have 3 dogs that I spoil Tootsie Roll, Jackson, and Chewey. I am currently in school to be diagnostic sonographer, and plan to transfer to El Centro within the year. I have a huge love for animals and enjoy working with them everyday.

    Marina Vazquez-Davila

    I have been with VCA since August 2011. I transfer from VCA Coast in Hermosa Beach, CA in May 2012 and relocated to the Dallas area. I own 3  miniature Schnauzers Achilles, Percy, Athena and Bam Bam my English Bulldog, Oh! can't forget Rocky my pit bull . I’ve been in the veterinary field 8 years and plan to keep my career in this field. I have a passion and love for all animal big and small, cute and smelly I love them all. My life goal is to become a licensed wild life rehabilitator.

    I have been working with VCA Pet Lodge for 2 years. I have a cat named Pixie and a very loving min pin named Harley. I am almost done taking my basics at Cedar Valley College. Next Spring I plan on starting the pre reqs for Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at El Centro College.

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital.
VCA Metroplex Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.

We provide the highest standard in veterinary emergency and critical care services. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of emergency surgeries and procedures. We provide the highest standards of pain management. Emergency internal medicine consultations, including full diagnostics, are available.
