Lori Polkowski, DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Lori Polkowski grew up in Plymouth, Michigan. She received a bachelors degree for environmental biology and zoology from Michigan State University in 1999. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2004 from Purdue University. After completing an internship at Animal Surgical and Emergency Center in West Los Angeles, she joined McClave Veterinary Hospital. Lori received her certification for veterinary acupuncture in 2013 from the Chi Institute. Lori's special interests are preventative veterinary medicine, holistic health and acupuncture. She has a Papillon named Papi, a German Short Haired Pointer named Pluto, a cat Stella, 4 chickens named Henry, K, Casey Blake and Kopitar, and one fish named Jeff. In her spare time she enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, hiking, yoga, and traveling.
